Mr & Mrs Veenstra were two naked bog bodies found holding hands in Drenthe in the North of The Netherlands in 1904. Radiocarbon dating shows that the two likely died between 160 BC and 220 AD. The Dutch term for bog is 'veen' and 'Veenstra' being a very common Dutch surname, the couple were dubbed Mr & Mrs Veenstra.
